About the course

This course explores the foundational expectations the Promised Messiah and Mahdi, Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as), held for those who joined his Community. Using Our Teaching as the primary text, we examine what it means to be counted among his followers in reality—not just by name. You’ll study the conditions of faith, obedience, sacrifice, and moral reform that define a true relationship with the Imam of the Age. The focus is practical and personal: how belief must show itself through conduct, discipline, and sincerity. The Promised Messiah (as) made it clear that verbal claims alone carry no weight. Only through understanding, firm resolve, and Divine grace can one hope to attain nearness to Allah Almighty and be counted among those who truly fulfill the purpose of this Jama‘at.

Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as)

The author of Our Teaching is the Promised Messiah and Mahdi (as), foretold by the Holy Prophet Muhammad (sa) to appear in the Latter Days for the revival of Islam and the unification of mankind. Through his writings, he laid the foundations of a divinely guided Community—one built on obedience to Allah, loyalty to Khilafat, and the moral reformation of its members. More than a century later, his teachings continue to guide Khuddam toward purposeful faith, disciplined living, and service to humanity.
